One of the greatest music and YouTube sensations, Croatian duo 2 Cellos is coming again to Belgrade to hold a concert at Sava Center on June 19!
A Croatian duo Luka Šulić and Sjepan Hauser are 2 cellists whose music is a unique blend of classical and rock music. They became a YouTube sensation with their cello version of “Smooth Criminal” and since then they have travelled the World and performed at many famous halls and shows.
At the beginning of 2012, 2 Cellos appeared as the special musical guests on the hit TV series Glee in the episode dedicated to Michael Jackson. So far, they have performed with the greatest of the world music scene such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queen of The Stone Age, Andrea Bocelli and George Michael, and have got a huge support from Elton John. In Japan 2 Cellos got its day, which is marked on January 20 and Croatian president Ivo Josipović awarded them with the highest recognition for the contribution to the development of culture and promotion of Croatia in the world.
Concerts of 2 Cellos usually start with classical music and end with rock! On one of the latest covers, “Live and Let Die” by Paula McCartney they’ve been joined by world renowned pianist Lang Lang. Each concert is a true spectacle and shouldn’t be missed!
Tickets for the concert cost 1800, 2400, 3000 and 3600 dinars and can be purchased at box offices of Sava Center and at all Eventim tickets offices.
