Belgrade Summer Festival, BELEF, is starting on 21st of June, on the World’s Music Day, with a concert of violinist Nemanja Radulovic and will last until 25th of July, and will close with music for all those in love.
City Secretary for Culture Vladan Vukosavljevic said that the Secretariat, in a cooperation with CEBEF, has organized a rich, interesting and high quality program of this year’s festival.
This year there will be 18 performers, 16 concerts, musical drama and documentary drama. On the World’s Music Day, 21st of June, we expect a spectacular concert of Nemanja Radulovic, our famous violinist, at outdoors of Student’s Square. This year’s program of BELEF festival will be held at beautiful area of Captain Miša’s building. In addition to it, events will be held also at Kolarac Foundation, House of King Peter I in Senjak, Mikser House, the Bitef Theater, and the “Vuk Karadzic” culture center.
The artistic director of the festival Vojkan Borisavljevic said that BELEF was sidelined from the cultural life of the city for years, but that last year returned again and scored a very good success.
The next festival’s musical “Comeback of the written off “ is in preparation for next year and cooperation with similar festivals in the region.
The Acting Director of the Centre of Belgrade Festivals Milan Lazovic said that Belef has a dominant cultural offer during this summer in Belgrade, but also an important tourist offer.
