15th Belgrade Beer Fest will be held from August 16 to August 20 at Ušće.
Belgrade Beer Fest is on average, the biggest beer festival in Southeastern Europe. Within 5 days, over 500.000 people visit the festival. The large number of visitors is mostly due to basic festival principles: free entrance, an exceptional music program, and a wide range of foreign and domestic beer bands.
Belgrade Beer Fest was founded in year 2003. In fourteen years of its existence over 7.6 million visitors could have seen more than 600 music performances, tasted more than 330 beer brands and participated in numerous social campaigns.
The festival has received numerous awards. One of them is the recommendation of the British newspaper „The Independent“ which ranked this festival in year 2005, among 20 world events that must be visited.
Musical program of this year’s festival stars at 18pm every day.
WEDNESDAY – 18th of August
Van Gogh, one of the most famous Serbian bands, will mark opening of the 15th Belgrade Beer Fest. Apart from this amazing concert, the audience will be able to enjoy in performance of Death Saw, Stereo Banana, Galija and British electro band Asian Dub Foundation.
THURSDAY
Mortal Kombat, Riblja Čorba, Direktori i Orthdox Celts will perform the second day of the festival. Also, the audience will be able to enjoy the Stereo MC’s from one hour after midnight.
FRIDAY
Cotton Pickers and Skirts will open the program on Friday. Evening will continue with performances of bands from the region: punk-rock band Cold Beer, Sarajevo Zabranjeno pušenje and Croatian turbo / fol / punk attractions Brkovi. The program will close Kiril Djaikovsky’s performances in the Innovation Zone and punk band Atheist Rap at the Main Stage.
SATRUDAY
Performances by the more popular band Nothing challenged, Darko Rundek, punk band Golini and S.A.R.S in the Innovation Zone, Nizber Roker Kerber and ska punk band Independent referents will mark the program that the audience expects on Saturday, August 19th.
SUNDAY
The last day of the festival will begin with the reggae sounds of Del Arno Band. There will be an evening of memory with the Blue Orchestra and guests, and the night of good play will continue with the gigs of Dejan Petrović and the biggest Big Band. The performance of the KAL group at Main Stage will close the 15th Jubilee Beer Festival.
