Music festival Belgrade Calling will have its fourth edition on 22nd and 23rd of June at Tašmajdan stadium and stars of this year’s festival are the cult band Simply Red and superstar singer John Newman. Festival was founded in 2012 and since then numerous world stars had performances there.
The festival is organized with a thought that it represents „Live events for those who hear the calling“.
On a first festival night, 22nd of June, young soul superstar John Newman will perform in front of the Belgrade crowd. Newman is known for his hits “Love Me Again”, “Losing Sleep”, “Out Of My Head” and “Cheating”, as well as the cooperation with electronic band Rudimental in songs “Not Giving In” i “Feel The Love” or “Blame” featuring another music superstar Calvin Harris. On music festival Belgrade Calling Newman will present his 2nd album “Revolve”, released at the end of last year.
British band Simply Red will have its 3rd concert in Belgrade on 23rd of June at the festival Belgrade Calling. This concert is part of their European tour which marks their 30 years on the music scene. Mick Hucknall held first concert in Belgrade in 2006 and later, in 2009 when they were touring around the world to say goodbye to their fans. However, after less than five years they have realized that they are still not ready to call it quits, recorded a new album “Big Love” and started new tour to celebrate 30 years since their foundation. Special guests at their Belgrade concerts are Croatian singer Natali Dizdar and the band Jinx.
Tickets for the concert of John Newman cost 1990, 2500 and 3000 dinars, while tickets for the Simply Red concert can be purchased at a price of 2990, 3990 and 3990 dinars at all Eventim ticket outlets and at www.eventim.rs.
