CHOPIN FEST: BELGRADE 2017

6st Belgrade Chopin fest will be organized in honor of Frederic Chopin from 20th to 25th of February.

Chopin fest, the unique event in our region, is about pianism from the standpoint of theory, education and concert practice. Famous pianists, piano pedagogues and professors, young talents from Serbia and foreign countries, as well as fans of the classical music, will participate in the selected programs and human goals of this festival.

BELGRADE CHOPIN FEST: THE PROGRAM

*20th of February – 6 PM – Mikser House – Chopin opsession, poetic and musical homage to „poet of piano“ – Frederic Chopin, will gather Chopin fans, young pianists and artists who will perform the most popular Chopin compositions in unusual and interesting instrumental and vocal arrangements.

*21st of February – 8 PM – Belgrade City Assembly – Humanitarian concert „Young pianist“ will make open ceremony more beautiful and interesting. Viktor Radić, Sarah Skopljak and Vedran Janjanin who will bring us the magic of their talents, are winers of competition for pianist BSF for past two years. Money collected from ticket sale will be used for donating 4D ultrasound for a baby ward in Pančevo.

*22nd of February – 8 PM – Ilija M. Kolarac foundation – Dmitry Shiskin, laureate of the most famous Chopin competition in Warsaw 2015 year, will present a special interpretations of Mozzart, Tanjejev, Skrajbin, List i Chopin, with his special performig skills.

*23rd of February – 8 PM – Cultural Center Belgrade, Artget gallery – The program „Meeting with artist“, bring us special opportunity to meet Dmitry Shiskin just an evening after. Spontenously meeting will give you chance to ask him a question and hear interesting experiences which Dmitry has had during his career.

*24th of February – 5 PM – DKC Majda, House of King Peter – Music workshop and concert of Romanticism will present to children glamorous world of music, on an interesting and creative way.

*24th of February – 8 PM – Belgrade City Assembly – Rita Kinka, one of the most significant names of Serbian pianism, will perform piano recital in her specific style full of sensibility and suggestiveness. Visitors will enjoy in performance works of Beethoven’s, Schubert’s and Chopin’s music.

*25th of February – 11 AM – Ilija M. Kolarac foundation
– Little school of good manners „How to listen Chopin“, appropriate for children from five to ten years old, will enable kids to learn a lot of interesting things about famous composers.

*25th of February – 14 PM – International center for music „Eva“
– Music workshop „Music and sensibility“ will introduce to children the world of playing instruments and developing motor skills, intelligence and patience.
