As a part of 38th International Fair of Tourism scheduled between 18th and 21st of February 2016 an International wine fair will also take place in hall 2 of Belgrade’s fair.
Belgrade’s tourism fair is the biggest touristic manifestation in Serbia and south eastern Europe, and more than 69.000 people visited the display, so the Beowine wine fair, which is the exact name of the manifestation in hall 2, is expecting a lot of visitors.
The Beo Wine Fair taking place at Belgrade Fair presents one of the hugely expansive industrial branches in Serbia – production and distribution of wine. During four days 141 exhibitors will present their products to the fans of fermented grapes, from types of wine, new ways to grow and process grapes to equipment for viticulture and enology.
The Beo Wine Fair is also promoting wine tours, trips to vineyards and wine cellars with inevitable wine tastings for the true fans of wine. Most respected domestic and regional wine manufactures, wine cellars, houses of wine and companies that distribute this ”Gods’s Drink” will represent themselves at the same place. Complete equipment for viticulture and enology will be present at the fair.
A number of lectures and classes will be held in conference halls, and wine tastings will be organized on stands every single day. From 141 exhibitors 90 are from Serbia, and 51 exhibitors from abroad will come to Belgrade in order to present their products, and they are coming from 11 countries.
The price of a single ticket is 300 dinars (around 2,2€), and the group tickets are priced at 200 dinars (around 1,7€), while the price of parking is 200 dinars per hour.
Organizers of the fair implemented a very interesting aspect to the manifestation that creates a lot of buzz among wine fans. Namely, a contest ’’BeoWine Fair Challenge Cup’’ is organized as a part of the fair, and it has 6 categories.
