FESTIVAL OF CHOREOGRAPHIC MINIATURES

Festival of Choreographic Miniatures will be held from 2nd to 10th June at the National Theatre and Bitef Theatre in Belgrade.

Festival of Choreographic Miniatures

Festival of Choreographic Miniatures (FKM) is an international dance festival held annually in Belgrade. It is the only festival with a competitive as well as non-competitive programme section and the longest running dance festival in Serbia. The mission of the festival is to promote contemporary dance in the broadest sense and to inform the professional and general public with current and upcoming trends.

FKM will be held this year at 21 times under the slogan “In step with the times”. Festival is organized by the Association of Ballet Artists of Serbia and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Slovenia and the City of Belgrade.

The audience will have the opportunity to enjoy at the competition, review and non-competitive programme and to find out interesting things about choreographic work of Serbian and foreign authors and news in this part of art. 69 applications from 18 countries are arrived for choreographers competition. Three main rewards and plaque Aleksandar Izailovski, for the inventiveness of artistic expression, will be awarded on Festival of Choreographic Miniatures.
