FILM FESTIVAL „MAGNIFICENT SEVEN“

European feature documentary film festival „Magnificient seven“ will take place in Sava Centar from 1st to 7th of February. Unique European cinema is presenting to you few amazing documetary films for the 13th time!

This year, film festival „Magnificent seven“ presents probably one of the most exclusive group of authors of the European feature documentary films. Four of them will come with their latest, spectacular films, and a lot of others authors in progress will join them.

FILM FESTIVAL MAFNIFICENT SEVEN: THE PROGRAM

*1st of February – 8 PM – opening ceremony – Film „Hello I Am David – Eine reise mit David Helfgott“, by Cosima Lange, will open the festival. This is the first documentary film about legendary pianist David Helfgott. Magnificient interpretations, charismatic hero and miracle that had happened to him will make you feel incredible.

*2nd of February – 8 PM – Film „Austerlitz“, by Sergei Losnitza, you can see the second day of the festival. This briliant, at the same time provocative film, tell us about absurd and controversial behaviour of modern society.

*3rd of February – 8 PM – The third evening is reserved for the film „Burning out“, by the author Jerome le Maire. Belgian author take us to forbidden place – one of the most famous hospital in Paris and tell us about unexpected and unfair struggle between doctors and modern society.

*4th of February – 8 PM – You can enjoy watching “Homo Sapiens”, the latest Nikolaus Geyrhalter movie, on Saturday evening. Film, which premiere was at the Berlin festival, give us a new point of view of the planet nowadays, but in some unspecific future.

*5th of February – 8 PM – Sunday evening will be nicer if you watch “Normální Autistický”, by the author Miroslav Janek. Dynamic, witty and interesting story about mystery of autism, comes from the author who gives a lot of attention to children that are different and rejected.

*6th of February– 8 PM – The sixth evening is reserved for the film “Moteris ir ledinas”, by Audrius Stonys. This is the story about unspoken love between one amazing woman and huge glacier.

*7th of February – 8 PM – Film “In Loco Parentis”, by couple of Irish authors Neasa Ni Chianain and David Rein, will close the festival. It is the biggest documentary surprise in last few years and it was made based on some other fantastic movies about school, teachers and students.
